What a Valid DMCA Notice Must Include

To be considered a valid takedown request, your notice must contain each of the following:

• A signature — electronic or physical — from the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder.
• A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
• The specific URL or location on our platform where the infringing content can be found.
• Your contact information, including mailing address, phone number, and email address.
• A statement confirming your good faith belief that the use of the material in question has not been authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
• A declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that all information provided is accurate and that you are either the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

Once a credible infringement claim is received, 512 Hosting will act promptly to remove or restrict access to the content in question, in accordance with DMCA guidelines.

Disputing a Takedown

If your content was removed and you believe that removal was a mistake, you have the right to submit a counter-notice. Send your counter-notice to the address or email listed above and include the following:

• Your full name as a physical or electronic signature.
• A description of the content that was removed and where it previously appeared on our platform.
• A statement under penalty of perjury asserting your good faith belief that the content was taken down due to an error or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and phone number, along with your agreement to accept jurisdiction in the applicable federal district court — or any district where 512 Hosting operates, if you are outside the U.S. — and your willingness to accept legal service from the original Complainant or their representative.

Once a valid counter-notice is received, 512 Hosting will notify the original Complainant and move to restore the content within no fewer than ten (10) and no more than fourteen (14) business days, unless the Complainant first notifies us that a court order has been sought to prevent restoration.

Repeat Infringement Policy

512 Hosting reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts belonging to customers who are found to be repeat copyright infringers.

Support for Standard Technical Measures

512 Hosting supports and does not interfere with standard technical measures used by rights holders to identify and protect copyrighted content, provided those measures were developed through an open, consensus-based industry process, are accessible on fair and non-discriminatory terms, and do not place unreasonable burdens on our infrastructure.
